Chris Grabham
Chris studied Composition for Film & Theatre (BMus) at the ArtEZ Conservatorium of Music in Arnhem, where he was awarded a scholarship by the university in recognition of his “outstanding artistic abilities”. He graduated in the summer of 2022 with a first-class degree in ‘Composition for Film & Theatre’ and was additionally awarded a full set of Honours. Throughout his studies, Chris took a great interest in the fields of Film/TV/Theatre Composition, Conducting, Orchestration and Music Theory. He now enjoys using these skills on a day-to-day basis as a film/TV composer and professional conductor, applying his knowledge and expertise to real-life projects.
As a creative professional, Chris has a growing list of clients, including YouTuber ChrisMD (5.9m subs).
In 2021, Chris gained a Licentiate diploma in Music Theory (with specialisms in Symphonic Music & Orchestration) from Trinity College London, and in 2018 obtained a Diploma in Film Scoring & Production from the Musicube Academy, Bonn. He has also been awarded the Pride of Somerset Youth Award twice, in recognition of his services to Theatre (2014) and Music (2016).
Chris is also an active musician who plays Orchestral Percussion, as well as Piano, Double Bass and Drum Kit to a professional level. He currently conducts a number of large choirs, orchestras and bands.
